Greetings to our KYBA Community,

We would like to offer a brief update on our KYBA House League Back to Play plan. First of all, many thanks to our hundreds of members who have registered for the 2021/2022 season - we appreciate all of your continued support.  We look forward to welcoming all of our players back to the court as soon as we can, and we remain confident for a full 2021-22 season.

Through recent messaging from the Ottawa School Boards, we know that there will most likely be no community use of schools until the end of October.  Each individual school board (OCDSB, OCSB, CEPEO and CSDCEO) will inform KYBA as soon as a decision has been taken by each individual school board as to when we will be allowed access to the gyms, which we hope is sometime in November.

KYBA relies on an inventory of over 40 school gyms per week to offer our programs.  There just isn't an inventory of alternative gyms in our region to support our programs.  We are, however, working on some options to get players on the court in the meantime, and until we can offer our full league.
Please monitor our website and social media channels for any updates, as well as your email.  Further update to follow in the days ahead.

Thank you,
KYBA HL Executive Team
